hydraulic actuation systemsThe Problem: |
|
| The twisting force imparted on the valve by an electro-mechanical actuator
causes leakage, and with every transfer, the force required to move the valve
becomes greater than before. Eventually, the actuator fails or the amount of
valve leakage becomes a safety hazard. Either event will require a costly
shutdown of production in order to repair the valve, resulting in lost
production and lost profits. Our hydraulic actuation system eliminates the twisting that is so detrimental
to the valve’s performance. It delivers as much as two to three times more
pushing and pulling thrust than a comparable electro-mechanical actuator.
This additional power allows greater clamping forces to be applied to the
valve, increasing the sealing capacity, preventing possible leakage and
extending the service life of the valve. |
